Peter & Alison.

Kate Sala.

We were privileged to welcome Peter & Alison to the club in July 2007, a very professional duo, who have between them written some of the most popular dances on the circuit today.
with great patience and understanding they teach thoroughly really keen for everyone in the room to have to steps fully before they move on to the next bit. Staggering the music one wall at a time to keep check on whose coping.
They taught us four dances during the day. In the evening they recapped two of them and taught everyone a party dance called 'Aloha'. I must say that watching grown women in lovely evening attire, holding their knees, squatting and grunting with this music, was the highlight on the event. What a laugh we all had.

After You;
4 wall – 48 count - After you, by Beverly Knight
This was one of the favourites of the day, not to tricky and all remembered it later on the evening, (always a good sign) Steady flowing dance that fits perfectly to the music.

Across the Universe:
This was a brand new dance today, it was well received by all, they could really get their teeth into this one, with some cool music.  although I didn't join in this teach, the final performance looked great with some really nice steps.

Here and Now:
2 wall - 64 count - Living in the here and now by Darryl Worley Published in Up country this month, so a few had already learnt it. everyone enjoyed this dance, the music is a lovely country track from Daryl Worley, (take a breather) and fits perfectly, great Smokey places  bit in the middle pointing into the diagonal walls looks great. if you like cowboy and a dancer and seven wonders you'll love this dance.

To Love Somebody:
4 wall - 32 count - To love somebody by Jordin Sparks A beautiful Night Club Two Step, again very well received, My personal favorite, this is an elegant dance, and Alison's tips on foot work were taken on, so by the time she had told the (spinners) where to put in extra turns the whole thing looked lovely. We also re-capped this later and all remembered it.

This Video was shot earlier in the day. Alison had taught To Love Somebody, we had danced it a couple of times, then she gave the "Spinners" a chance to put in extra turn's.

Click: After You
This video was taken in the evening, Peter is re-capping After You, as you can see, everyone remembered it, Except me that is, but I had an excuse. When I remember it I'll let you know...
